Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bengado's Nuno Oliveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Bengado booed when SC Valhelhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Porto, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SC Bengado's Joel Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Carneiro in the 20th minute of play. If Nuno Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogério Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nuno Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, Emanuel Brás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bengado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristiano Carneiro. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th match minute, SC Bengado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Faria to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Valhelhas booed when SC Bengado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Catarino Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, SC Bengado's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Nogueira came free, but Joel Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Xavier Nogueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Joel Gomes however easily saved by the left post. Joaquim Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. José Luz, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to SC Valhelhas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nuno Pires hit a great ball.
