Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Nascimento kicked off to start the match. When Xavier Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Valhelhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Xavier Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cristiano Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Rogério Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cristiano Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Valhelhas. After 21 played minutes Cantomil FC got a freekick which was hit by André Coimbra. In the 23rd minute, Cristiano Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Carneiro. SC Valhelhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristiano Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cristiano Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantomil FC. When Luís Bessa fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Valhelhas's protests and gave Luís Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cantomil FC booed when SC Valhelhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Nogueira got free with Cristiano Cabral in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cristiano Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogério Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Xavier Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Cabral. Cantomil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Xavier Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Xavier Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Carneiro scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Bessa got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Cantomil FC's Cristiano Nascimento in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Valhelhas's goalie prevented a goal. Rogério Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristiano Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by André Coimbra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristiano Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Coimbra in the 88th minute. Cristiano Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cristiano Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Carneiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The Cantomil FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Valhelhas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
