If Sandro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alberto Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Pondras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Joaquim Anjos hit a great ball. When Catarino Melo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Pondras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Melo couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Sandro Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catarino Melo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Joel Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pondras. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sandro Ramos sped through SC Pondras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Fernandes. After 62 played minutes SC Assares got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Barbosa. Sandro Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandro Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 66th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
