Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Cabral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manuel Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Magueija's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Cabral came free, but Carlos Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Amílcar Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, Magueija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Silva to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pepe. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pepe's goalkeeper Alfredo Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Amílcar Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magueija the free kick. After 37 played minutes SC Pepe got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Aleixo. Magueija's Bento Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Joaquim Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Amadeu Borba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magueija's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pepe the free kick. After 48 played minutes Magueija got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Borba. After recieving a nice pass, SC Pepe's Gustavo Matias tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Magueija got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Melo. In the 59th match minute, Magueija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Manuel Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magueija's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pepe the free kick. The supporters of SC Pepe booed when Magueija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Cabral's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Alfredo Antunes made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Bento Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Joaquim Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Magueija's zone, Joaquim Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Correia came out of the goal and Joaquim Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Ramos's late challenge caught a SC Pepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. SC Pepe's Alfredo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Teixeira in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Manuel Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bento Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magueija's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
