Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão Araújo started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute, Humberto Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Anjos came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Beliche's João Lima. But to his dismay, João Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Simão Araújo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. João Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cândido Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Muceres's Jorge Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Lima was the one to do the kick off. If Jorge Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Araújo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Luís Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Muceres. If Jorge Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Araújo in the 61st minute of play. Simão Araújo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Aleixo. Luís Aleixo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, SC Beliche's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Araújo came free, but Luís Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Anjos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Beliche's zone, Simão Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Aleixo came out of the goal and Simão Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Luís Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Beliche's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
