Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fábio Marques started the match with the kick off. Fábio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Borba having to interfere. Alexandre Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Rui Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Borba having to interfere. Henrique Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Adolfo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes SC Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Henriques. After a defensive mix-up in SC Abedim's zone, Gaspar Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Luz came out of the goal and Gaspar Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Armindo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Canelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gaspar Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Canelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Fábio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Marques took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Borba. Joaquim Borba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Fábio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Artur Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspar Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Armindo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Canelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Canelas's Gaspar Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armindo Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Canelas's Joaquim Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save SC Canelas from getting a goal against them. SC Canelas's Armindo Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, SC Canelas's Gaspar Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. SC Abedim's Artur Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Rodrigues in the 78th minute of play. Artur Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
