After a rather tough play, SC Gestinha's Lucas Veiga got a free kick in the 6th minute. Fábio Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Borba couldn't finish the play. In the 34thth minute of the game André Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sete's Gabriel Coimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fábio Borba sent off a good shot on target. Rui Morais charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Morais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Vieira in the 47th minute of play forced Sete's goalkeeper Gabriel Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Aguiar to make the kick off. SC Gestinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
