Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Magos's Vítor Henriques started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Meijoadas's Filipe Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Emílio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Cabral in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Henriques did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Afonso Guerreiro 16 minutes into the match. Emílio Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Antunes having to interfere. Filipe Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Joaquim Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Vítor Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Meijoadas's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Henriques came free, but Afonso Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Vítor Henriques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquim Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Magos's zone, Filipe Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Antunes came out of the goal and Filipe Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Magos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Luís Baptista hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Meijoadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Guerreiro having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Cabral to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Luís Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Meijoadas's Emílio Cabral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquim Antunes. Joaquim Antunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vítor Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Guerreiro having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Magos's Pedro Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Magos booed when Meijoadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Cláudio Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meijoadas the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Magos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Viana to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Cabral in the 83rd minute of play forced Magos's goalkeeper Joaquim Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filipe Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
