Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gil Carneiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bruno Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Carneiro in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Moutinho saved Arneiros from getting behind. Armando Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Carneiro in the 8th minute of play. Joel Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vasco Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Santarém's late challenge caught a Arneiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Santarém hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bento Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Lisboa having to interfere. When Carlos Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Mucifal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Baptista couldn't finish the play. Bruno Leal took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Moutinho. Armando Moutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 46 minutes into the match, Arneiros's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Baptista came free, but Armando Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, SC Mucifal's Gil Carneiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Moutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Viana to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match André Pires shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Moutinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Mucifal booed when Arneiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Bruno Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 70th match minute, Arneiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Trindade to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, SC Mucifal's Simão Macedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 72 played minutes Arneiros got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Santarém. In the 85th minute Gil Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bento Viana came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Arneiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Viana couldn't finish the play. Vasco Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Viana in the 89th minute of play. Óscar Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match, Gil Carneiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SC Mucifal played a much better game than Arneiros and deserved their victory. The Arneiros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
