Vicente Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Vieira in the 16th minute of the match. António Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Moutinho having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Arneiros got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Ferreira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Borges got free with Armando Moutinho in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Rocha took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Ferreira. Vicente Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 34th minute of the match, António Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ricardo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Arneiros's goalkeeper Armando Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Borges. António Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Armando Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Viana was the one to do the kick off. Armando Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Marques in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Arneiros getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Afonso Ferreira hit a great ball. Bento Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arneiros's Joel Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ferreira having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Tala FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Rocha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 93rdth minute of the game Bento Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tala FC's Vicente Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vicente Ferreira made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, André Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arneiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala FC the free kick. André Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Tala FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arneiros's performance. The match ended with a win for Arneiros.
