Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pontao FC's Catarino Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Pontao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. When Fábio Leal came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SC Espinhoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Leal couldn't finish the play. If Rodrigo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Fábio Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Leal struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. David Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Espinhoso. Catarino Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontao FC's David Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Paredes in the 23rd minute of play. David Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Amílcar Brito made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rodrigo Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. Catarino Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amílcar Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Nogueira lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of SC Espinhoso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pontao FC:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Catarino Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Catarino Guarda sped through SC Espinhoso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amílcar Brito. Catarino Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Eusébio Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Rodrigo Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Espinhoso's Amílcar Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amílcar Brito didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pontao FC's Catarino Guarda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Catarino Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pontao FC had won after a very even match.
