Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Morais started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Freixofeira's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Reis came free, but Bruno Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Simão Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. David Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Moutinho in the 12th minute. Eusébio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alexandre Carvalho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Farroupo's Américo Reis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Freixofeira's Simão Moutinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Coelho. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Farroupo's Simão Abreu got a free kick in the 36th minute. Américo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Fernandes having to interfere. Farroupo's Américo Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jorge Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freixofeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Farroupo's zone, Simão Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Coelho came out of the goal and Simão Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Azevedo in the 61st minute of the match. Eusébio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Fernandes having to interfere. A collision led to Freixofeira getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alexandre Carvalho hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Farroupo's Alexandre Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Morais kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Fernandes. That made the score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. If Américo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Reis got free with Bruno Fernandes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Luís Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Farroupo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Freixofeira from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
