In the last second Mariano Maia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hélder Leite in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eusébio Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Abraa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Armando Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Abraa's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Figueiredo came free, but Gil Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eusébio Oliveira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Eusébio Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 54 played minutes SC Palhoca got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Figueiredo. Hugo Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Melo having to interfere. Gil Melo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Carlos Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraa:s Gil Melo showed great skill when he stopped Ricardo Faro:s penalty. Sandro Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Palhoca players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Abraa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
