Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Mogueiraes's Cândido Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Mogueiraes from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Brás was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. SC Coelhal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, SC Coelhal's Amílcar Santos got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Correia in the 9th minute of play forced SC Coelhal's goalkeeper Nuno Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, SC Coelhal's António Nogueira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed António Nogueira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Coelhal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and António Nogueira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sebastião Gonçalves walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nuno Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Barros in the 14th minute of play. Cândido Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Oliveira went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Amadeu Barros took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Moura. Nuno Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some careless play in the SC Coelhal defense, Amadeu Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Moura. The SC Coelhal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Moura should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Anjos during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Coelhal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. António Anjos hit a great ball. Amílcar Santos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Amadeu Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomás Correia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SC Mogueiraes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Correia couldn't finish the play. Tomás Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Moura having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Correia in the 48th minute of play forced SC Coelhal's goalkeeper Nuno Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Amadeu Barros made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. SC Coelhal's Nuno Moura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastião Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Azevedo having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Adolfo Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Mogueiraes booed when SC Coelhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Neto got free with Nuno Moura in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SC Coelhal getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Amílcar Santos hit a great ball. After 68 minutes SC Coelhal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastião Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. Sebastião Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Oliveira scored 3-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cândido Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Oliveira in the 80th minute of play. Nuno Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Armando Sá hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes SC Mogueiraes got a freekick which was hit by António Fernandes.
