Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Branco started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Anelhe FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Soares. Manuel Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Pinto's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Branco in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Leão hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Joaquim Branco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Manuel Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Domingos Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Joaquim Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arregaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Branco in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Anelhe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Moniz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingos Cabral in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Cruz saved Anelhe FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Arregaca's zone, Delfim Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Porto came out of the goal and Delfim Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anelhe FC's Francisco Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Delfim Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anelhe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Arregaca getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Artur Lima hit a great ball. Delfim Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

If Francisco Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Cruz having to make a save. Anelhe FC's David Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Anelhe FC from getting a goal against them. David Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Xavier Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Simões in the 79th minute of the match. Delfim Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Porto having to make a save. Delfim Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Porto having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Delfim Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Arregaca's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Simões came free, but Manuel Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Paulo Jesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arregaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anelhe FC the free kick. A collision led to Arregaca getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Paulo Jesus hit a great ball. If Delfim Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arregaca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arregaca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
