Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredo Coelho made the kick off which started today's match. Fábio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Inácio Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arregaca's zone, Alfredo Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Porto came out of the goal and Alfredo Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Alfredo Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 35th minute of the match Fábio Moniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Vale skillfully saved the ball. Manuel Porto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Luz. In the 41st minute, Inácio Setúbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corgo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Joaquim Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Arregaca's Joaquim Branco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Simão Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Vale having to interfere. Manuel Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Coelho in the 59th minute of play. If Simão Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Joaquim Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Setúbal in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, David Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corgo's Alfredo Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Porto having to interfere. When Alfredo Coelho got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Manuel Porto was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. David Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Manuel Porto came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Corgo's Alfredo Coelho. But to his dismay, Alfredo Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Abel Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Resende in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Corgo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Fernandes. Abel Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Corgo's Lourenço Oliveira got a free kick in the 81st minute. Manuel Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Joaquim Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abel Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Ricardo Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corgo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arregaca the free kick. Arregaca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
