David Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Lima in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Paleao's zone, Delfim Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Tavares came out of the goal and Delfim Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rogério Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes in the game, Delfim Maia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rogério Maia having to interfere. The supporters of SC Tamanhos booed when SC Paleao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Maia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filipe Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Tamanhos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristiano Soares hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Filipe Assis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Tamanhos's Rogério Maia didn't even have to move. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Paleao fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Tamanhos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
