In the 4th minute of the match Pedro Correia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Ferro skillfully saved the ball. Rogério Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Garcia went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, SC Regufe's Daniel Ferro got control of the ball when Rogério Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Vieira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jorge Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Manuel Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Ferro came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogério Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. With a little luck, SC Regufe's Daniel Ferro got control of the ball when Delfim Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Daniel Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Regufe's Daniel Ferro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SC Regufe from getting a goal against them. Daniel Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Lima in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, SC Tamanhos's Pedro Correia got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rogério Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Nascimento in the 54th minute of the match. Gil Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Nascimento in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Manuel Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, SC Tamanhos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Nascimento came free, but Rogério Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Moutinho took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Ferro. Daniel Ferro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 71st minute Manuel Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match, Manuel Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rogério Maia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When João Vieira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. João Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, SC Regufe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
