Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Brás kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Aguiar in the 5th minute of play forced SC Barradinhas's goalkeeper Jorge Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Manuel Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Figueiredo. SC Barradinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 16 played minutes SC Barradinhas got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Barros. Jorge Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Carlos Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Figueiredo having to interfere. If Amadeu Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Campos came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Barradinhas's Joel Campos. But to his dismay, Joel Campos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in SC Catraiadas's zone, Joel Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Campos came out of the goal and Joel Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Catraiadas's Amadeu Santos. But to his dismay, Amadeu Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 45th minute Emanuel Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, SC Catraiadas's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Brás came free, but Gonçalo Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeu Santos to make the kick off. David Borges hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Catraiadas's goalkeeper Gonçalo Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Campos having to interfere. Gonçalo Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Brás in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for SC Barradinhas. Alfredo Barros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gonçalo Campos. 2-3. With a little luck, SC Barradinhas's Jorge Figueiredo got control of the ball when Manuel Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jorge Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, SC Catraiadas's Amadeu Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Amadeu Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Figueiredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Amadeu Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 80th minute. Jorge Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Santos in the 83rd minute of play. When Luís Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Catraiadas's protests and gave Luís Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Joel Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Campos having to make a save. The SC Catraiadas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Catraiadas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
