Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Silvite's Armindo Fontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingos Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SC Silvite getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cláudio Teixeira hit a great ball. Mário Setúbal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Correia. Sandro Faria came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Silvite's Armindo Fontes. But to his dismay, Armindo Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mário Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for SC Silvite. Jacinto Gonçalves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandro Faria. 0-2. A collision led to Tagilde getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vítor Matos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Cabral in the 27th minute of play forced Tagilde's goalkeeper Sandro Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nuno Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Cabral's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Cláudio Teixeira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Vítor Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Domingos Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tagilde's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Silvite's Armindo Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When SC Silvite's Armindo Fontes in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tagilde's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Oliveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mário Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sandro Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Fernando Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Henriques charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Henriques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 0-3 became the score in the 59th minute when Nuno Cabral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Silvite's Cláudio Teixeira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tagilde's Fernando Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Sandro Faria made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nuno Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Silvite's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Vítor Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Teixeira during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cláudio Teixeira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Silvite getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Armindo Fontes hit a great ball. André Correia, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nuno Cabral struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sandro Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Silvite. The supporters of Tagilde booed when SC Silvite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Silvite played a much better game than Tagilde and deserved their victory. The Tagilde players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
