After the first half Tagilde were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Domingos Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SC Catraiadas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luís Nogueira hit a great ball. Amadeu Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes SC Catraiadas got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Queirós. In the 61st minute Domingos Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
