Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Fontes kicked off to start the match. Gonçalo Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Cabral in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Fontes in the 5th minute of play forced SC Catraiadas's goalkeeper Gonçalo Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Campos having to interfere. Amadeu Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Setúbal having to interfere. In the 11th minute, SC Catraiadas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nuno Cabral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armindo Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Campos came out and tried to block the shot, but Armindo Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, SC Silvite's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Aguiar came free, but Mário Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Catraiadas's Gonçalo Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Fontes in the 21st minute of play. If Nuno Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Catraiadas booed when SC Silvite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Amadeu Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Catraiadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Amadeu Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of SC Silvite:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Catraiadas:s goal. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for SC Catraiadas. Gaspar Nascimento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mário Setúbal. 1-1. In the 47th minute, Gaspar Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Armando Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, SC Catraiadas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Cabral came free, but Gonçalo Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Nuno Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, SC Catraiadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Campos having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nuno Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Silvite fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 81st minute, Armindo Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Catraiadas's zone, Armindo Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Campos came out of the goal and Armindo Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Armindo Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Campos. SC Catraiadas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Gonçalo Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that SC Silvite were the better team. SC Silvite's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
