Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heitor Almeida started the match with the kick off. Carlos Veiga's late challenge caught a Sambade FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Sambade FC a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Macedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bordinheira FC's Carlos Ribeiro. 0-1. Heitor Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Armindo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Amadeu Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bordinheira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Armindo Branco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Eusébio Nunes sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Bento Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sambade FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sambade FC's goalkeeper Armindo Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Bento Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Almeida in the 29th minute of the match. Amadeu Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Armindo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Bordinheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Nogueira came free, but Carlos Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Catarino Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Heitor Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Branco was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Bento Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Bento Faria made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Bordinheira FC's Heitor Almeida made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Bento Faria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Ribeiro, 2-2. Carlos Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Sambade FC's Hugo Nogueira. But to his dismay, Hugo Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. A hard shot 69 in the game by Hugo Nogueira from a close distance when the talented Carlos Ribeiro managed to make a qualified save. Bordinheira FC's players were relieved. After having played for 70 minutes, Heitor Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bordinheira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Nogueira's late challenge caught a Bordinheira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Américo Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. Armindo Branco had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Oliveira Azevedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 82nd minute Heitor Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Almeida in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Oliveira Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armindo Branco skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th match minute, Bordinheira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sambade FC's zone, Amadeu Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Branco came out of the goal and Amadeu Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute Heitor Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
