Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joaquim Antunes kicked off to start the match. Saboia FC's Rogério Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Saboia FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SC Carreira booed when Saboia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Carreira's David Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Pedroso in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Saboia FC defense, Alexandre Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Fonseca. The Saboia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Rogério Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Antunes in the 20th minute of the match. Basílio Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Domingues having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Gomes in the 23rd minute of play forced SC Carreira's goalkeeper David Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carreira's zone, Basílio Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Domingues came out of the goal and Basílio Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Amílcar Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saboia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amílcar Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. David Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Jaime Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saboia FC and the SC Carreira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Pedroso in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Vítor Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jaime Morais hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Joaquim Antunes struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Rogério Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carreira. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 59th minute Amílcar Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Gomes in the 64th minute of the match. Diamantino Leal's late challenge caught a Saboia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Leal helped the player get up and apologised. Diamantino Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, SC Carreira's goalkeeper David Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basílio Pedroso. Basílio Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Carreira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amílcar Gomes 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Alexandre Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rogério Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Moutinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Carreira's Vítor Moutinho got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Paulo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Saboia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Basílio Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílcar Gomes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Domingues saved SC Carreira from getting behind. Tomás Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Pinheiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Saboia FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
