Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Antunes made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Carlos Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Guardal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carreira the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Carlos Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Guardal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Aguiar couldn't finish the play. SC Carreira's David Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SC Carreira from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Guardal getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Humberto Magalhães hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Antunes in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Emanuel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Guardal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 played minutes SC Carreira got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Antunes. 40 minutes into the match, SC Guardal's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Matias came free, but Gonçalo Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Pedro Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SC Carreira's Joaquim Antunes in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Guardal's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SC Carreira defense, Emanuel Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Domingues. The SC Carreira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Domingues should have stopped the shot. If Alexandre Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Aguiar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Domingues saved SC Carreira from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Alexandre Matias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Guardal's Gonçalo Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Antunes in the 68th minute of play. Gonçalo Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Antunes in the 69th minute of the match. SC Carreira's David Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Aguiar in the 73rd minute of play. David Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Aguiar in the 75th minute of the match. Gonçalo Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Cândido Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
