Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Matias kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Jorge Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Olmos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Luz to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Armindo Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mea's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armindo Matias might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Ferro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Matias ran back to his position shaking his head. José Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Jacinto Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olmos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Armindo Matias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Ferro. Olmos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armindo Matias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. José Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Olmos FC's Jacinto Cabral got a free kick in the 84th minute. Armindo Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Ferro having to interfere. Armindo Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Mea got a corner. Olmos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristiano Figueiredo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Afonso Teixeira's late challenge caught a Olmos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olmos FC booed when Mea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
