SC Rapoula's Afonso Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SC Rapoula from getting a goal against them. Afonso Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Gabriel Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Rapoula's Afonso Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Machado in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes, Monsoa FC's Emílio Valente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monsoa FC reached it. In the 23rd minute of the match João Moutinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Faria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes Monsoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Anjos. Cristóvão Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Faria having to interfere. Cristóvão Trindade might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Trindade ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Faria having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Trindade in the 35th minute of play forced Monsoa FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Afonso Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Faria. Monsoa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adelino Gueifão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. After the first half SC Rapoula were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SC Rapoula defense, Pedro Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Moura. The SC Rapoula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Moura should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, SC Rapoula's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Aguiar came free, but Afonso Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Moura having to interfere. Afonso Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Leal in the 60th minute of play. The Monsoa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Rapoula's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Rapoula.
