Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eusébio Marques made the kick off which started today's match. David Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Barata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Requeixo FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Barata getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristóvão Torres hit a great ball. António Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. António Moura hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A hard shot 12 in the game by Raul Correia from a close distance when the talented Sebastião Gomes managed to make a qualified save. SC Barata's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the game, SC Barata's Eusébio Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Eusébio Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Correia in the 18th minute. Alfredo Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Francisco Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Eusébio Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Requeixo FC's Francisco Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Requeixo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Leal to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, SC Barata's Alfredo Morais made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Raul Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Gomes made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Raul Correia sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alfredo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Barata's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Jaime Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Mendes came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Barata's Alfredo Morais. But to his dismay, Alfredo Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Raul Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Requeixo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 58th minute, SC Barata's Eusébio Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Mendes. Francisco Mendes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Raul Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sebastião Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Barata's zone, David Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Gomes came out of the goal and David Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, David Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Requeixo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Barata's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Marques in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, David Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Requeixo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Requeixo FC's Alexandre Gomes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alfredo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mendes having to interfere. Eusébio Marques was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. SC Barata's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Eusébio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Morais got free with Francisco Mendes in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Requeixo FC's zone, Alfredo Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Mendes came out of the goal and Alfredo Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Barata eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
