Duarte Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joaquim Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Anelhe FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Manuel Martins hit a great ball. After 24 minutes of play, SC Bouca's Paulo Pinheiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Jesus hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Anelhe FC's Joaquim Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Anelhe FC defense, Duarte Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Figueiredo. The Anelhe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Duarte Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Figueiredo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pinheiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Anelhe FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 44 in the game by Daniel Cabral from a close distance when the talented Carlos Lima managed to make a qualified save. SC Bouca's players were relieved. When Domingos Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bouca's protests and gave Domingos Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Domingos Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Cabral in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Barbosa in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, one of SC Bouca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Bouca. Hélder Coelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Figueiredo. Anelhe FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Manuel Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Brás, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joaquim Figueiredo was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Paulo Pinheiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Pinheiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Anelhe FC's Viriato Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Barbosa in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of SC Bouca booed when Anelhe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Anelhe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. SC Bouca succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Anelhe FC had controlled the match.
