Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Baptista started the match with the kick off. When Humberto Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Cendufe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Aleixo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Farroupo FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Carlos Santos hit a great ball. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Cendufe's Humberto Aleixo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gaspar Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Afonso Pedroso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaspar Anjos, passed just outside the right post. If Paulo Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Emanuel Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Aleixo scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simão Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Afonso Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Farroupo FC's Afonso Pedroso in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cendufe's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Farroupo FC's Paulo Henriques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Nascimento hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gaspar Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Raul Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cendufe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farroupo FC the free kick. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farroupo FC's goalkeeper Simão Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Aleixo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Miranda saved Farroupo FC from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Pedroso to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, SC Cendufe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Antunes to maneuver through the defense. SC Cendufe's Raul Pacheco got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Raul Pacheco off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Cendufe's Raul Pacheco got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, SC Cendufe's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Henriques came free, but Gaspar Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes SC Cendufe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristiano Macedo who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute, Raul Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Farroupo FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pereira. Humberto Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gaspar Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, SC Cendufe's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Henriques came free, but Gaspar Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Paulo Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farroupo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Anjos having to interfere. Paulo Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaspar Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes SC Cendufe got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Amorim. José Campos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gaspar Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farroupo FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Farroupo FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
