Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Cruz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rui Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Palmaz booed when Alvaredo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Fernando Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvaredo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmaz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alvaredo FC's Fernando Soares got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match Bruno Alves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heitor Guarda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alvaredo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Palmaz a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bruno Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alvaredo FC's Heitor Guarda. 0-1. Rui Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Domingos Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jaime Morais fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmaz's protests and gave Jaime Morais a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Rui Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Soares having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Rui Viana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingos Soares. Rui Viana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to Alvaredo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fernando Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Palmaz got a corner. Alvaredo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Nuno Cruz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Cruz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Guarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Palmaz's Afonso Reis got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Domingos Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Alvaredo FC booed when Palmaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Viana in the 54th minute of play. Nuno Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heitor Guarda came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuno Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 55th minute. David Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Guarda having to interfere. Domingos Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaredo FC's Heitor Guarda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Alvaredo FC from getting a goal against them. Alvaredo FC's Heitor Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Cruz in the 79th minute of play. Heitor Guarda made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Esteves in the 81st minute. Fernando Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Heitor Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Guarda having to interfere. David Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nuno Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmaz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
