Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eusébio Guerreiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusébio Guerreiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Ricardo Branco came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Semitela's Rogério Mendes. But to his dismay, Rogério Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bernardo Martins struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. João Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Mosteiro. Filipe Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. João Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Mosteiro's goalkeeper Ricardo Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of SC Semitela booed when SC Mosteiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Branco having to interfere. After 37 played minutes SC Mosteiro got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Almeida. A well-hit corner resulted in Nuno Branco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 42 minutes into the match, SC Semitela's Heitor Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Vieira's late challenge caught a SC Semitela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Rui Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Heitor Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Heitor Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Semitela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Guerreiro to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Manuel Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Semitela and the SC Mosteiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, SC Semitela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Costa to maneuver through the defense. If Filipe Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Semitela's João Alves got control of the ball when Bernardo Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Viana in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, SC Semitela's Eusébio Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 70 minutes into the game, Bernardo Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mosteiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Semitela the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Mosteiro's Bernardo Martins got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Heitor Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Mosteiro's André Matos got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 91 played minutes, SC Semitela's Diamantino Faria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Branco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Semitela reached it. Ricardo Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Viana in the 92nd minute of play. If Bernardo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Semitela had won after a very even match.
