Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Moniz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Lúcio Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Lúcio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Pedroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basílio Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Pedroso ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 minutes, Lourenço Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madail FC and the Tacoes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tacoes booed when Madail FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Assis's late challenge caught a Madail FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Assis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Madail FC booed when Tacoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tacoes getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Henrique Martins hit a great ball. Cristóvão Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Basílio Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Fernando Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Lúcio Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basílio Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Lúcio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Pedroso came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basílio Domingues could save by the left post. Madail FC's Cristóvão Freitas got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Cristóvão Freitas off the ground. Cristóvão Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Lúcio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madail FC's Basílio Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Fernandes in the 76th minute of play. Basílio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Esteves having to interfere. Fernando Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Eusébio Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tacoes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
