After 15 minutes of play, SC Caramulo's Amadeu Azevedo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 26th match minute, SC Caramulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Eusébio Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Mendes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, SC Caramulo's Armando Branco threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of SC Caramulo booed when Aparicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, SC Caramulo's Amadeu Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After taking down the ball on Aparicos FC's corner Pedro Cardoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ricardo Mendes quite easily take care of the ball.
