Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Perosinho FC's Gaspar Brás started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Barros in the 9th minute of play forced Perosinho FC's goalkeeper Tiago Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perosinho FC's Tiago Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Aleixo in the 15th minute of play. Gaspar Brás struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Humberto Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perosinho FC. In the 21st minute Cândido Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perosinho FC's Tiago Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Aleixo in the 23rd minute of play. Cândido Aleixo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Pires. Tiago Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristiano Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Humberto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Brás in the 30th minute of play. Perosinho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Santos in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Barros in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Pires saved Perosinho FC from getting behind. Tiago Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tiago Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formal's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Aleixo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cândido Aleixo got free with Tiago Pires in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Pires having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Perosinho FC's Gaspar Brás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Martins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Cristiano Brás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formal's Humberto Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristiano Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cândido Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Perosinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Formal booed when Perosinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Aleixo in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Perosinho FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jacinto Santos hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Joaquim Fonseca sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tiago Pires threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Joaquim Fonseca this time. Humberto Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Veiga in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Formal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perosinho FC.
