A collision led to Alvarinhos FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Joaquim Cabral hit a great ball. André Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. André Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pontao. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by André Carneiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jorge Porto scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Guerreiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pontao's zone, Heitor Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Delgado came out of the goal and Heitor Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 24 minutes, António Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarinhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game António Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pontao's André Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Heitor Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guerreiro having to interfere. If André Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Pontao's André Carneiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Guerreiro. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, António Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvarinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Alvarinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Carneiro came free, but André Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

André Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, André Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of André Guerreiro. Alvarinhos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alexandre Leão hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Heitor Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Pontao's André Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SC Pontao from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Alvarinhos FC booed when SC Pontao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, SC Pontao's André Carneiro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Guerreiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. André Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Pontao had won after a very even match.
