Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alvarinhos FC's António Paiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heitor Simões got free with Carlos Campos in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Moutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Guerreiro. Alvarinhos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacinto Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Nordeste FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. André Guerreiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Costa went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th match minute, Nordeste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Veiga to maneuver through the defense. António Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Campos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Paiva in the 40th minute of play forced Nordeste FC's goalkeeper Carlos Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute Lúcio Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Magalhães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Jaime Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Jaime Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarinhos FC's André Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Guerreiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Simões in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Magalhães had several of the Alvarinhos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed André Guerreiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 78 played minutes Nordeste FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Vale. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Heitor Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvarinhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jaime Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Alvarinhos FC's goalkeeper André Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Costa. Alvarinhos FC's André Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Alvarinhos FC from getting a goal against them. When Vítor Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Alvarinhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Macedo couldn't finish the play. Vítor Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Nordeste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. The Nordeste FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
