Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Varandas booed when SC Bergaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, SC Bergaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Henrique Pinheiro from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got David Alves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 9 minutes into the match, Varandas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Matias came free, but Carlos Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Varandas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sandro Porto hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Miguel Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernandes was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Varandas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Matias came free, but Carlos Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raul Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Varandas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Teixeira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Teixeira in the 30th minute of play forced SC Bergaco's goalkeeper David Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Esteves's late challenge caught a Varandas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Varandas's protests and gave Adolfo Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Varandas got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Amaral. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
