Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Cardoso started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Sesmarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Martins during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Luís Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Cardoso in the 11th minute of play forced Sesmarias's goalkeeper Amadeu Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sesmarias's Miguel Faria got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Calvo FC's António Faro in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sesmarias's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Hélder Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Mota having to make a save. Amadeu Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Sesmarias got a freekick which was hit by Luís Martins. After having played for 32 minutes, António Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calvo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Calvo FC's goalkeeper Vítor Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute António Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasco Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Vasco Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sesmarias's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Vale having to interfere. Hélder Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sesmarias's Mariano Neto got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, António Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calvo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Amadeu Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes of play Sesmarias's Luís Martins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sesmarias's Luís Martins got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Alexandre Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Vale, 0-1. When the final whistle went the supporters of Calvo FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sesmarias side.
