Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bento Gueifão started the match with the kick off. Joel Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ventusela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joaquim Pinho hit a great ball. Cândido Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the game, SC Leiradas's Bento Gueifão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the SC Leiradas defense, Emílio Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cândido Brás. The SC Leiradas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cândido Brás should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Brás to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ventusela's Filipe Brás in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Leiradas's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 played minutes Ventusela got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Campos. After a rather tough play, SC Leiradas's Nuno Mota got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Ventusela's André Coelho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Filipe Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cândido Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, SC Leiradas's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Brás came free, but Cândido Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emílio Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes, Afonso Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Leiradas and the Ventusela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes SC Leiradas got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Amorim. André Coelho, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 92nd minute Emílio Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Leiradas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
