Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bento Gueifão took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cândido Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vale in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, SC Leiradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Leiradas's goalkeeper Cândido Brás, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Gueifão in the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Bento Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Gueifão hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jorge Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cândido Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Joel Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Faria having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Joel Queirós from a close distance when the talented Rui Faria managed to make a qualified save. Valduge's players were relieved. Cândido Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Viana in the 35th minute of the match. Jorge Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cândido Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vale in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Leiradas's goalkeeper Cândido Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Leiradas defense, Jorge Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cândido Brás. The SC Leiradas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cândido Brás should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jorge Vale made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play Valduge's Afonso Sá was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 54th match minute, Valduge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vale to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Leiradas's Sebastião Veiga tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bento Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Valduge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Leite to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Pedro Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valduge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Leiradas the free kick. In the 61st minute, Pedro Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Valduge's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Gueifão came free, but Rui Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Viana struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Cândido Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valduge. If Jorge Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes, SC Leiradas's Amadeu Marques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Leiradas reached it. With a little luck, SC Leiradas's Cândido Brás got control of the ball when Jorge Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line.
