Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xavier Queirós kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Cristiano Gomes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Gildinho's Duarte Pinto. Duarte Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Queirós in the 9th minute of play forced SC Gildinho's goalkeeper Duarte Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, SC Gildinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Paredes to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Xavier Queirós put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Pinto. Xavier Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Pinto having to interfere. Alfredo Paredes's late challenge caught a SC Gildinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes SC Casconho got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Paredes. With his leg Alexandre Ribeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when SC Gildinho's Hélder Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Paiva got free with Alexandre Ribeiro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Gildinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Casconho were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Hélder Paiva made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Gildinho's Duarte Pinto got control of the ball when Cristiano Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Paiva in the 54th minute of play. Eusébio Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alexandre Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Paiva in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Hélder Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hélder Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristiano Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SC Casconho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Gomes couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Paiva in the 82nd minute of the match. When SC Gildinho's Hélder Paiva in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Casconho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
