Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Casconho's Xavier Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sérgio Vaz, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Manuel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alexandre Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Xavier Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Danaia's David Rocha got control of the ball when Cristiano Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute Xavier Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rocha having to interfere. When Manuel Martins came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Danaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Martins couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Casconho getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sandro Amaral hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, SC Casconho's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Teixeira came free, but Alexandre Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Gomes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised David Rocha 35 minutes into the match. Sandro Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rocha having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Xavier Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. David Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Danaia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sérgio Vaz was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Casconho's players had a chance to rest. SC Casconho's Sérgio Vaz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Rocha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 79th match minute, SC Casconho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cardoso in the 80th minute of the match. David Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cristiano Gomes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. David Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Casconho. After having played for 87 minutes, Xavier Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Casconho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rocha having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Danaia got a freekick which was hit by José Leiria. The supporters of SC Casconho booed when Danaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Danaia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Gomes came free, but David Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danaia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Casconho had controlled the match.
