Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Freitas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Gaspar Borba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lubazim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aveloso FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lubazim's Gaspar Borba got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Aveloso FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Monteiro. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lubazim's goalkeeper Nuno Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Viriato Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aveloso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Alexandre Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Borges, making the score, 1-0. Nuno Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Sousa in the 24th minute of play. Paulo Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Nogueira in the 28th minute. Alexandre Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogério Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lubazim's Gaspar Borba got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Sousa was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Lubazim's Nuno Amorim got control of the ball when João Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lubazim's Nuno Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Lubazim from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bento Nogueira in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Borges saved Aveloso FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute Alexandre Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Amorim having to interfere. Sandro Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Aveloso FC's Paulo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Freitas in the 74th minute of play. Rogério Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Amorim having to interfere. When Gaspar Borba was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Gaspar Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Aveloso FC got a corner. Lubazim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavier Magalhães ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gabriel Torres tried in the game's 96th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Nuno Amorim. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aveloso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lubazim.
