The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Correia got free with Carlos Amaro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Moniz in the 19th minute of play. Jorge Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lavacido's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Diamantino Moniz scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Amaro, making the score, 2-2.
