Heitor Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Filhadal's goal looked a bit too open when António Azevedo came free, but Manuel Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heitor Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Filhadal were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after SC Azurara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastião Pedroso took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sebastião Pedroso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heitor Nascimento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Sebastião Pedroso's long shot passed Heitor Nascimento's right side. It was 1-0, 12 minutes into the match. When António Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SC Azurara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Azevedo couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Filhadal got a freekick which was hit by André Gaspar. Manuel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nuno Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Manuel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 56th minute, Hélder Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heitor Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Heitor Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Azurara's zone, Nuno Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Nascimento came out of the goal and Nuno Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Paredes came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Azurara's Adolfo Marques. But to his dismay, Adolfo Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Filhadal's Manuel Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Filhadal from getting a goal against them. SC Azurara's Heitor Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Garcia in the 76th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Domingos Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Filhadal and the SC Azurara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Setúbal hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. António Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paredes having to interfere. Filhadal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
