Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Macedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Gustavo Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vasco Lisboa made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Marco Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. SC Furacasas's Adelino Luz suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marco Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Furacasas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Vasco Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Furacasas. Diamantino Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Veiga in the 20th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Joaquim Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Vairao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Joaquim Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match SC Vairao got a corner. SC Furacasas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Ribeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SC Vairao's David Ribeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Diamantino Pereira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Gustavo Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Pereira. SC Furacasas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half SC Vairao were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Carneiro made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Furacasas's goalkeeper Diamantino Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Vairao's Gustavo Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Marco Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Pereira having to make a save. Gustavo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Pereira having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Vairao walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
