Sandro Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Magalhães having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Fábio Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that André Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Guerreiro was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. André Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute André Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Lourenço Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bruno Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sandro Cabral sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, André Magalhães notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Casarias FC's Delfim Guerreiro. Delfim Guerreiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Casarias FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Magalhães came free, but Delfim Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lourenço Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Henrique Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Delfim Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France FC. After some careless play in the Casarias FC defense, Henrique Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Guerreiro. The Casarias FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Guerreiro should have stopped the shot. Delfim Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Nogueira in the 72nd minute. If André Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casarias FC's Delfim Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Casarias FC from getting a goal against them. When Lourenço Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Casarias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Pereira couldn't finish the play. After 83 minutes, Américo Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France FC and the Casarias FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Pereira in the 97th minute of play. The France FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
