Henrique Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Simão Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Nogueira in the 11th minute of play forced SC Taboeira's goalkeeper Simão Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Nogueira in the 13th minute of play. Daniel Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bruno Magalhães made a huge save. Bruno Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Fernandes in the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in France FC's zone, Daniel Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Magalhães came out of the goal and Daniel Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Ramos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Henrique Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The SC Taboeira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. France FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when André Magalhães made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, France FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to France FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Afonso Macedo hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Vítor Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 58 minutes of play, SC Taboeira's João Fernandes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Magalhães having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Daniel Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Magalhães. France FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Adolfo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Magalhães having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, José Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Taboeira the free kick. The supporters of SC Taboeira booed when France FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Daniel Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Bruno Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Adolfo Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Taboeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Henrique Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, SC Taboeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Leão to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match José Matias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. Henrique Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Taboeira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of France FC for a fine match.
