Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Macedo got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Tomás Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gervide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gafa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Gervide's Tomás Barros got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 20th minute, Miguel Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes SC Gervide got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Figueiredo. David Esteves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Miguel Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 38 minutes into the match, SC Gervide's goalkeeper David Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Matias. In the 41st minute of the match, João Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Esteves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 42 minutes into the game, Joaquim Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gafa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gervide the free kick. After 42 played minutes Gafa FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Sousa. 46 minutes into the match, Gafa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Macedo came free, but Miguel Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by João Moniz from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got David Esteves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when João Nascimento sped through SC Gervide's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Esteves. Cristóvão Dias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Tomás Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Miguel Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gafa FC's goalkeeper Miguel Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Gafa FC's Miguel Neves got control of the ball when Tomás Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Macedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Rui Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. Rui Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Neves having to interfere. If Rui Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Miguel Matias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gafa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Miguel Neves made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomás Barros sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Macedo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Neves saved Gafa FC from getting behind. If Tomás Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
